“About me” is probably the toughest thing for me to write, so I’ll keep it simple…here is what you probably care about:

Who I am personally:

Above all else, I am husband to an amazing, beautiful, woman and father to 4 awe inspiring children. Everything I do professionally is as much for them as it is for me.

I’m the first born son of a tool and die maker from Toledo, OH. Toledo is often called “mini Detroit” because it is closer to Detroit, MI than any major city in OH and because the economy there is very dependent on the auto industry. People around me worked hard, didn’t take things for granted, and put their family first. I am very much a product of my environment.

Who I am professionally:

I create solutions to problems using technology, and I enjoy the hell out of it. The type of problems I’m solving, and what tech I’m using to solve them, changes pretty frequently. On the walls of my office you’ll find pictures of people and places, not framed degrees from fancy schools. I’m a self-taught full-stack developer who has been creating applications on top of complex telecommunications and datacenter infrastructure for over a decade. I write code in multiple languagesĀ (Java, C#, Python, Javascript) and hold certifications from Amazon, Cisco, Google, Microsoft, and VMware.
