My name is Michael Aossey (pronounced “awe-see”). Thank you for taking the time to visit my site and learn a bit about me.
Before I get into this “Who is Michael Aossey” bit, I want to ask you to take a second to connect with me more directly on twitter or linkedIn. I love to network and it’s one of the primary reasons that I created this site.
OK, so lets talk about…well, me. Simply put, I am a geek. I love technology; I love what it does for us as consumers, I love the information that it generates for us and gives us access to, but most of all I love knowing how it all works.
I realized very early in my professional life that I could turn this love of all things tech into a way to pay the bills, and I have been making money doing things that I love to do ever since. I have been doing technology related work since about 1999 when I worked as a PC and server repair tech for Gateway (remember the cow boxes?) while I was in college. Fast forward to now; I am a Solutions Architect designing collaboration solutions for large scale Contact Centers at a telecommunications provider in the mid-west. If your interested in the details of the stops I’ve made along the way check out my resume here.
What your going to find on my site is mostly technical how-to type information, which is hopefully factual and accurate. Having said that, you may find an opinion of mine from time to time and I want to make sure that I am clear that anything said on this site is all me, I am not paid or sponsored in anyway.
